The Over the Edge Kickstarter campaign starts on July 10th. This project might be my best game design ever, combining an original design from 25 years ago with everything I've learned about designing RPGs since then. In 1992, Over the Edge was a passion project turned into an oddball RPG, and it played a big role in inspiring RPG designers to develop the indie RPG scene we love today. Now the game is back and better than ever. Revisiting an original work like Over the Edge was a massive creative challenge, a challenge so big that I put off revisiting this game for years. Now that I'm virtually done with the the manuscript, I feel great about how it turned out.
