Turn, Brie Sheldon slice-of-life rpg of shapeshifters in small towns, still has 33 hours left of Kickstarter, check it out!

The game (text) is available as an online beta, so you can get a very precise idea of what Beau (Brie) is offering. Search for beta in the KS campaign description.

The first 3 stretch goals have now been funded, and they look awesome. I can't wait to put my gaming hands on them.

Here are some extracts that explain what the game is about :

Turn is a slice-of-life supernatural roleplaying game set in the modern era. Players in Turn are shapeshifters in small, rural towns who must balance their human lives and habits with their beast needs and instincts in quiet drama. Their baser natures will challenge them as they strive towards goals from everyday tasks to life-changing experiences, and they will need to find comfort in one another to make it through without becoming stressed out.
Turn is about small, rural towns. It is about tight-knit communities with internal concerns. It’s about wanting to be a part of the town, to stay a part of the town. It’s also about being something else.
In Turn, players will be small-town people who just happen to be shapeshifters. They are not monsters, just people who have another side to them.
It isn’t the goal of Turn to fight bad guys or to pursue melodrama. Turn has a very simple tone of quiet exploration and deep emotional understanding. It is rare that players will encounter combat or violence in general – at most, they may hunt for food or protect their territory. In the rare experience that they become threatened for more nefarious reasons, they shouldn’t fear for themselves. They should just worry for the consequences. Matters of the heart, and matters of who they are, will be the most important things that shifters in Turn will battle within.

You will always do what you say you’re doing in Turn. You always succeed. But, there are always consequences, and you will have to struggle against your other form at times. Some of those consequences are in the story, but two of them are mechanical: exposure and stress.
Exposure is the result of your shifter identity being somehow obvious to non-shifters.
Stress is what happens when you struggle between your two forms or just when you experience normal, real life stress. When you build up stress and hit your limit, you involuntarily turn to your other form. You can’t return to the initial form until you have built enough stress to return or you are comforted by another shifter.
