Games are generally better like I imagine them then as I read them. Then they are usually worse as I read them than as they are played. But… how do I know if they’ll be as good or better when played than what I imagined?
Of course. Sometimes it's not them, it's me. Sometimes their author is a better writer then game designer. Sometimes I am a better reader then player. Sometimes it's the book for me, but not the game for me.
If they're worse reading than when played there's something wrong
