Phone notifications, what should I do?

Phone notifications, what should I do?
1. Shut off all and every message notifications, no matter what the source is.
2. Keep only the IM / Chat / SMS / hangouts notifications, shut off all theoretically more asynchronous communications like emails, social networks messages...
3. Keep every message notification, whatever the source.

  1. Personnellement, je configure différemment pour chaque app.
Encore un compromis à la belge! ;-)

  2. Whatever you can deal with. Interruptions are a lot of hassle. I have most notifications on, but my phone is on silent more often than not.

  3. The problem of connectivity is, in the beginning, they explain to you all those gadgets are usefull and help you. They use words like «Medical» and «Health» and you shut up ur mouth, thinking «what a lovely creation» ...but at the end, when u think about it seriously you find is ONLY question of «Money» and «Influence Opinions» ...dont be naive, connectivity is alienation: time-consuming activity + deep fetichism/desir for the object = alienation of ur mind!

  4. Connectivity is also:
    * allowing better organisation, spending time more for things you want to and less waiting
    * making mobile activities that were fixed

  6. Pernic Nori that's part of the point. The tools are (probably purposefully) not offering the degree of control that would be useful, so I am thinking about shutting what could be strength but is a nuisance thoroughly.

  7. I shut down G+ and email notification. I still check them too regularly, but I am less interrupted. Good.
