That is a nice set of goals for the year. My list is a bit shorter "Find a group." :-)

RépondreSupprimerI have tried one Hangout game, it was rather unsatisfactory, but that was when Hangouts just had been released, I suppose the technology is more mature now.
RépondreSupprimerI do play over G+ though, play-by-post, that has been my life line the past year. But it is a different kind of experience entirely.
I'd be lying if I said that playing by voice chat (or cam chat) is the same as playing in person. But it is quite good. It is a bit different, some things don't work as they do around the table and I needed a time of adaptation and it has its own advantages. Some even prefer it to playing in person. I don't, but now I want both. I would not stop playing online even if I had the opportunity to play regularly offline.
RépondreSupprimerDifferent tools for different kinds of games then. I'd love to get an actual tabletop game going though. One with junk food, minis, lots of dice rolling and a GM sitting with secret notes behind a screen. :-)

RépondreSupprimerPlus sérieusement, c'est un jeu semi-gag-semi-sérieux, pour attaquer un peu le problème du manque d'un vocabulaire commun en jdr et jdrologie. Court et propulsé par l'Apocalypse.
Une sorte de JDRPG.
